Catfish Capers is run by Martin Walker on the River Ebro near the town of Caspe in Spain. We specialize in providing a full range of catfishing holidays, from fully guided all inclusive to non-guided self catering, to appeal to all levels of ability from the beginner to the serious specimen hunter. Our trips are designed to be a holiday not an endurance test, (although some days may seem like it from the sheer number of catfish caught), after a good days fishing enjoy a sociable evening meal and a good nights sleep in comfortable accommodation.

For the 2008 season will continue running down to Mequinenza for those clients that wish to try for a 200lb+ catfish, spaces will be limited and available on a first come first served basis. Although the River Ebro is renowned for its huge catfish, there is also some super winter carp fishing both here in Caspe and Mequinenza the carp average mid twenties and run up to mid sixties, beats catching nothing and freezing your tits off at home

Ryanair have yet again cocked up our schedule putting back the Sunday flight to Zaragoza from 12.50 to 22.05, which means you wont get to Caspe till nearly midnight. It would also mean you could be sat around all day on Sunday, but I can offer those of you on this flight extra fishing till 16.00 on Sunday for £50. We have had lots of inquiries recently regarding shorter trips mainly long weekends, but because our change over day is on Sunday it is not possible, but I have added two shorter trips running from Sunday to Wednesday a two day fishing trip and Wednesday to Sunday a three day trip. Others asking if the price the Villa and Static Home is per person, no it is not - it is for the accommodation for one week. At a squeeze the Static Home can hold four people which means that from November to February (inclusive) when the cost is £100 it would only be £25 per head. The Villa, which can take comfortably accommodate six people, for the same period is £300, being only £50 per head.

Contrary to rumor I have not sold Catfish Capers to buy a Bar, I have purchased a half share of a Bar in Caspe called “Los Arcos” it will reopen shortly renamed “The Jolly Fisherman”!!!  Hope to see you soon
