I know how much time and effort goes into chasing people for details etc when arranging a trip, so to compensate I will offer one space free on bookings of eight and two spaces free for booking of twelve. (for guided and non-guided trips)
At the start of 2006 we offered a ton up guarantee where by anyone not catching a ton up catfish during a week long guided trip would have a return half board trip free of charge, (this excludes any bait or evening meals). Our total number of clients for 2006 was 356 and we did not give away a single free trip. Now I have noticed other guides offering ton up guarantees but with a difference, you have to have a minimum group number and if one or more of you fail then one of you gets a free return. I state again “we offer a ton up guarantee that any one not catching a ton up catfish during a week long guided trip would have a return half board trip free of charge” so don’t be fooled by cheap imitations. There are many new companies appearing on the internet claiming many years of experience (up to 2006 there has only been two serious catfish guiding companies on the top lake ourselves and BGS) yet their galleries only include half a dozen or so pictures. Some are even copying our ton up guarantee and claiming to be finding undiscovered areas around Caspe, what do they think I’ve been doing for the last nine years????.
Please note that all of our fish were caught during eight hour daylight sessions (longer sessions can be arranged) None of the fish were put on stringers, just weighed photographed and returned
Our trips run from Sun to Sun pick up Zaragoza (Ryan air Stansted), pick up from Barcelona or Reus will still be possible but there will be a surcharge poa per return trip.
Our mini bus is now strictly non-smoking, if you can manage to go two hours in the air plane not smoking, you should manage an hour and a half in the mini bus.
All prices are per person, per week, and do not include air fares. Full board includes bed, breakfast, packed lunch (choice of filling in a french stick, a bottle of water and three cans of soft drink) and evening meal (either “the menu of the day” which is a three course meal or a main course from the main menu when eating out in the restaurant) but does not include evening bar drinks! Supply tackle but this excludes leads and rigs on the non-guided options. Full range of tackle bits and feed available.
Hopefully Ryanair have settled their schedule making the flight arriving Zaragoza 12.50 from end Oct to end March and 22.05, from end March to end Oct. This will mean sitting around all day on the 22.05 flight, but I can offer those of you on this flight extra fishing till 16.00 for £100 per fishing group. We have had lots of inquiries for shorter trips mainly long weekends, but because our change over day is on Sunday it is not possible, but I have added two shorter trips running from Sunday to Wednesday a two day fishing trip and Wednesday to Sunday a three day trip.
When the clocks go back we try to get out earlier to have the same time fishing without having to fish after dark, to do this we have only toast and cereal for breakfast. We are going to offer you throughout the year the option of toast and cereal departing 7.30 - 8.00 or the cooked breakfast departing 9.30 - 10.00 the choice is yours.
